Situation: The battery is depleted and it is necessary to manually place the gear in neutral without using the Gear Rotatory. Additionally, the steering column is locked.

Require a solution for: Require assistance in disengaging the steering column lock and manually shifting the gear into neutral, bypassing the gear rotary selector, in order to allow the wheels to rotate freely.

Vehicle Information: Land Rover - Range Rover Evoque 2013 (All-Wheel Drive - L538) with a 2179cc engine, producing 140KW (190HP) and equipped with a 224DT system.

There is a lever located on the upper part of the gearbox, under the air filter. This lever must be shifted and securely held in position in order to engage the gearbox into neutral and disengage the parking pawl.

I will attempt to follow this instruction step and provide updates on my progress.

Additionally, I would appreciate any insights or opinions about the issue of a "Steering Column Locked". Please inform me of your thoughts.

The steering column is equipped with an electronic mechanism. To start the automobile, I suggest supplying electricity to the vehicle and placing the key under the steering column. Then, push the start button.

I attempted this task but was unsuccessful, maybe owing to insufficient battery power. Allow me to recharge the battery and we will attempt the task once again.
