Greetings, everybody.
I have just executed an engine replacement on my BMW E46 320D Touring, substituting the original M47N with an alternative M47N engine. The donor engine was from a manual vehicle, but I have previously modified the wiring harness to be compatible with my automatic gearbox.
All elements are organised, and I have meticulously verified many aspects.

I have reviewed all the connections available to me.
Confirmed the engine is adequately grounded
Confirmed that the starter is receiving electricity.
Inspected my battery, which is in satisfactory condition.
The fuel system is operational, and diesel is being dispensed.

Nevertheless, despite these factors, the vehicle cranks but fails to start.
Essential information:

Engine: M47N (sourced from a manual donor vehicle)
BMW E46 320D Touring, equipped with automatic gearbox
Problem: Vehicle cranks but fails to start

I am uncertain about what other factors may be contributing to this issue. Has anybody seen this before or have recommendations on what I should examine next?
Thank you in advance for any assistance!

Therefore, you possess no diagnostics?

It has been diagnosed with a 3E90 speed sensor issue related to the crankshaft. I suppose it is only a question of locating its position.

Did you recall the reluctor ring on the crankshaft? Number 8

Indeed, I did.

That is a source of relief. I encountered an unfortunate scenario where the oversight necessitated redoing the task.

The sensor is positioned underneath the starting motor. B2013

I located it after several expletives and careful examination. I am acquiring a replacement sensor tomorrow, since I suspect I have damaged the current one. We will see the outcome after it is replaced.
