Greetings everyone,
I possess a 2015 2.2d ASX and experienced the notorious dashboard illumination issue last year, wherein the ABS, TCS, SRS, 4WD, BBC, ITV, among others, ceased functioning simultaneously. This was rectified by replacing the right rear wheel sensor. Last week, the issue recurred, prompting me to replace both the sensor and the hub to ensure the problem would not reoccur.
I am now facing a new issue; the Traction Control System (TCS) erroneously detects wheel spin, resulting in power reduction, illumination of the TCS warning light on the dashboard, and restricting my speed to a maximum of 5 mph.
I am uncertain if I purchased a wheel sensor with incorrect resistance, voltage, or characteristics for my ASX, or if another issue has arisen. Additionally, I had an unexpected 4WD overheat alert as I exited the driveway after a cold start.
I would really appreciate any assistance, as I urgently need the automobile to be operational at this time.
Issue with ASX traction control.

Have you discovered a resolution to your issue? I am enquiring since I am experiencing the same problem with my ASX. I just replaced both front sensors and there are no fault codes shown.

I am experiencing the identical issue with the Traction Control System (TCS) on my 2015 AWD diesel ASX.
Did you ultimately discover a solution?

Successfully resolved the issue with the flashing warning lights (ASC, 4WD, etc.) and limp mode condition. I decided to document my actions, since this may assist others, given my difficulty in locating reliable information.
Upon using a Delphi OBD scanner, fault code U0415 was identified, which, according to the online handbook, indicates a CAN bus issue.

I adhered to the recommended procedures in the instructions, first inspecting the wires and brake light switch, but identified no issues. Subsequently, the 4WD-ECU unit was replaced, with no improvement. Subsequently replaced the ABS pump and ASC-ECU unit, however to no effect.
When replacing these units, calibration is necessary; thus, an OBD tool capable of performing this function is required. I used the Delphi DS diagnostic tool.
After test driving the vehicle once again, the scanner unexpectedly indicated no movement in the left rear wheel while the car was in motion.
Upon further investigation, I discovered that the magnetic ring read by the ABS sensor was extensively rusted, and when I touched the sensor, it detached due to the severe corrosion of the little clips securing it.
The ultimate resolution for our vehicle was replacing the left rear hub assembly, resulting in the elimination of issues and optimal performance of the automobile.
Several months were spent identifying the issue, followed by one hour to resolve it.

Greetings everyone,
A rather distinct issue with my ASX 4 1.8 diesel. The ABS, ACS, and 4x4 service indicators illuminated, prompting a visit to the local mechanic, where a defective wheel speed sensor was detected, necessitating the replacement of the wheel hub. Resolve the issue, or so I assumed. Observed today when departing in 2WD that the wheels were spinning, although the traction control light did not illuminate. I intended to click the button to determine its operational status, but the dashboard lacked an indicator light to confirm it was off, leading me to suspect that the hub was not completely repaired. Do you have any suggestions prior to my return? Thank you for any assistance.

Indeed, I can feel the heat emanating from the parts cannon! A reputable local shop, not part of a franchise, would be well-acquainted with this sort of rear bearing failure and could have resolved the issue for around $400. I cannot refute that some DIY automotive repairs may be enjoyable and instructive, provided they do not involve your primary vehicle.
