I'm still getting my bearings, so please bear with me. I came here in the hopes of learning anything that might help me fix my automobile. I drive a 2004 Mazda 6 with a V6 engine. I got my automobile in 2007, and it has served me well thus far, with just the replacement of a fractured air hose.
My automobile has started to "hesitate" when I press the accelerator, making a stuttering sound and giving the impression that it has less power than it really does. This feeling only occurs during acceleration, and not only during rapid acceleration. It happens often, but not always. Although I am no auto expert, I can think of a few potential causes. Previously, I had to replace the air hose between the air filter chamber and the throttle body because of identical symptoms. My car's performance immediately improved when I replaced the hose, and subsequent inspections have shown no cause for concern in the connections. I have been using the same K&N air filter for quite some time and have no clue whether it is related to my problem. Due to a lack of time, expertise, and resources, I haven't given many solutions a go. Besides, I don't have the cash to drive my vehicle to a shop, so I'd want to give DIY methods a go first.
I'd be grateful for any advice you could provide me to figure this out. It's really irritating, as I'm sure it would be for anybody, and it makes me nervous that it may be damaging my automobile. We'd enjoy hearing your thoughts. I appreciate you taking the time to read my blog. I'd love to hear from anyone!
I have outlined several potential causes of the issue below.
firstly, transmission (fingers crossed not haha)
#2. spark plugs
third-party sensor
4. Fuel injectors that are filthy
5 Filter/pump for gas tank
When Quickening Speed, Showing "Hesitation"

I'm curious whether you bought a genuine K&N system or if you just removed the packaging and installed a filter.
2. If so, what adjustments were made to the sensor? I'm 99% confident that the Mass Air Flow (MAF) sensor is at the root of my misfire issues, as I experience the same thing with my own vehicle. Since the MAF sensor issue is consistent with the misfire, it's not a mechanical but rather a computerized issue, which I attribute to Mazda.

When I put my vehicle in reverse, I get the same issue. My 2001 Mazda Tribute has started stuttering when I put it in reverse and apply throttle. Today, I had to really step on the gas to get things going. When I put my automatic Tribute in reverse, it acts like a manual. When I put it in drive, the acceleration is smooth and strong. If the issue is discovered with yours, it might be the inverse of the issue with mine.

The same thing happened to me with my mentee. A huge tear in the airhose was the source of the issue. Before you start dealing with the air flow sensor or anything else, be sure that isn't the problem. To make do in the meanwhile, remove any debris and filth from the hose and then tape up the hole with some hose tape (duct tape).
Duct tape is less than $10, however I don't know how much the additional repairs will cost for your car.

My 01 Tribute V6 3.0 used to get about 270–300 kilometers (km) per tank of fuel, but recently it has gotten much worse on fuel. The check engine light has been illuminated, and the code p0430 has been displayed. However, a few years ago I had the catalytic converter removed because it was clogged, and after that everything ran smoothly.
Help me, if you can

I apologize for the delay in my reply. There had been no CEL codes since April, give or take a few weeks. But I just got a scan tool since I kept getting warning lights, and it turns out that Cylinder 5 is misfiring. That is in accordance with the rules. Finally, after a month of sputtering, I decided to replace the Coil on Cylinder 5. Then a few days ago I started getting codes that said clyinders 1 and 4 had a misfire. Two additional coils were changed, and now it runs like new. Gratitude for the Blog Post

I haven't upgraded my car's intake system yet. I just swapped out the stock filter with a K&N filter.

It's true that I've struggled to put my vehicle in reverse on a few of occasions, but just once or twice in recent memory. I can't even begin to guess what went wrong. The weather may have something to do with my shift **** sticking in park; but, it's possible that all I need is a lubricant service or transmission service to resolve the problem. as an additional point of clarification, my vehicle is an automatic rather than a manual. Current mileage is close to 104,000. Now I realize I need to start looking for help. It's really perplexing to me why our vehicles' reverse gears are malfunctioning. I'm crossing my fingers that it doesn't cost us too much.

I should mention that I did use MAF sensor cleaning, which did help somewhat (but only since one side of the cleaner was black; haha).
