Hello, this is my first post on my 2010 BMW E90 320i SE. I am replacing the headlights with those from a 2009 business model, which seem identical. After installation, will they function properly, or is coding necessary? Someone referenced the matter, and I want guidance on whether I also need to get a coding tool. Thank you for any assistance.

Are you transitioning from halogen to halogen, or from halogen to xenon?

Enter the last seven digits of your chassis number to get the component numbers and do a search using them.
Searching eBay for "E90 breaking" may sometimes provide desired items that are not explicitly advertised.

The exchange of halogen headlights between the two LCI vehicles will be direct, since both models are equipped with identical headlights. What is the rationale for this exchange?

Hello, could you assist with identifying the name of this component? I have searched on RealOEM without success; I need to change this as well.

I had the vehicle for seven days when an individual abruptly emerged in front of me and abruptly applied the brakes. The bumper, hood, and headlights need replacement; fortunately, the radiator and bumper reinforcement are intact. I have located all the necessary components, but I was uncertain about the headlights. Thank you for the responses.
