Exhaust pressure sensor W176, 2014

Hello, can someone assist with replacing the exhaust pressure sensor and pipe on my 2014 W176 Mercedes? The engine warning light persists, indicating a sensor issue, despite having replaced it twice.

Have you inspected the wiring?

Did you use an authentic Renault sensor or a Mercedes-Benz one?

Additional software may be required.

Did you replace the whole pipe or only the rubber component?

Wiring inspected after the installation of the aftermarket sensor for the Renault full pipe. It is only the senior issue.

The wiring was inspected; the sensor was an aftermarket component. The pipe was also replaced, although the engine light indicates a sensor issue for the second time in two months. I believe I will get an OEM sensor

I am experiencing a same issue; I just replaced the exhaust back pressure sensor (EBPS) with a FEBI component. However, the EBPS pressure escalates to 2 bar after the vehicle is turned off, and it records a fault: "P047128 - EBPS 1 has a malfunction - the signal offset is outside the permissible range."

Uncertain on the issue at hand. Has anybody else had this issue?

What engine is it, my friend? 2.1 CDI OM651?

I installed a new exhaust back pressure sensor (EBPS), nevertheless the engine continues to display failure code P047128. After clearing the issue, the sensor readings are optimal and the CSR recovers to 100%. However, upon turning off the engine, precisely one minute later, the EBPS escalates to 2 bar, the fault reoccurs, and the vehicle reverts to limp mode.

I have tested three sensors, all exhibiting same behaviour.

All DPF measurements and pressures are OK; the vehicle operates flawlessly till it is shut off.

Resolved it after extensive testing!

What actions did you do to rectify the issue?

Essentially, you extract the white rubber sealing ring from the inside of the plug using a sharp pick; it subsequently snaps into place and operates well. I have been well since then.
