We possess a budget of £16,000 and are eager to replace our ageing Vauxhall Astra with a C-Class, preferably an estate model. Our budget is sufficient to acquire many models from 2018 to 2020, and we are particularly interested in the aesthetic of the 1.5 MHEV (2020) variant.

Is there an explanation for why they seem less expensive than the 2.0, which, within the same price, would typically be from 2018 and have more mileage?

Are there any concerns about the MHEV that might potentially be a deal breaker? Thank you in advance!

It is a Renault engine. Consequently, the price is very excessive for a C-class vehicle.

I understand! Are there any general issues?

We have had many oil leaks, but none have been significant.

Thank you for the information! Still somewhat indecisive, however.

I would consistently choose for the most powerful engine within your budget.

The C200 1.5 MHEV is not equipped with a Renault engine; it use a Mercedes engine. The 1.3 A200 is commendable.
