Greetings everyone;
Since I've had a soft spot for BMWs since I was a kid, I figured it would be a good idea to acquire one as a second vehicle. I've been researching the 1 and 2 series, but the 3 series looks to be the superior choice. Any suggestions? Just so you know, I'm 21 years old, I reside in the UK, and my budget is $10,000. Plus, it must be from 2012 or later.
Much obliged.

Petrol or diesel?
Short excursions use fuel, whereas extended journeys employ diesel.
Whichever option you choose, seek a comprehensive service history, and preferably, evidence of further oil changes that indicate the owner's diligence in maintaining the vehicle.
I really like the 3 Series diesel; I own two 2-liter models but would appreciate a 3-liter variant.

I have never understood the rationale behind their efforts.

What precisely constitutes a secondary vehicle? We own 9 automobiles together; in what sequence should I arrange them?
