Greetings, everyone.
Merely a little matter.
Did Mercedes affix AMG badges on AMG Line vehicles? I own a 2014 CLS250, which has a CLS250 badge on the left side of the trunk and an AMG emblem on the right side. If it is factory-installed, I will retain it; but, if it is not, I plan to remove it, since I dislike aftermarket emblems and such modifications.

Although it did not originally leave the factory adorned with an AMG insignia on the boot lid, now that it is there, unless it is misaligned or bothersome, it is best to leave it undisturbed. It will include AMG emblems on the wheels, floor mats, and likely in further locations, so an extra one would be inconsequential.

It is present on the inner matting, but absent elsewhere. Does anybody know whether they were installed as standard equipment? If it is aftermarket, it is being sold!

There is no need for concern; Mercedes-Benz has been affixing AMG insignia to various models for years. I believe they have a plant in China just dedicated to producing AMG emblems.
One may argue that my 2006 C55 AMG is not a true AMG, given AMG was fully acquired by Mercedes-Benz Daimler in 2005.
The discourse is consistently animated, although life is fleeting.
