Greetings, I possess a fully charged electric vehicle battery. However, for the past few months, the Electric mode has not activated when the vehicle is configured to Hybrid. Given the cold months, I suspected the battery was inadequate, thus preventing the activation of electric mode. Nevertheless, as the temperature rises, I observe that the electric mode remains disabled, and the start-stop mechanism is also nonfunctional.
Do you have any insight into the problem?
Thank you in advance.
The C350e hybrid mode fails to activate.

A defective or ageing battery may appear fully charged, although it may not be generating sufficient current or voltage if it is malfunctioning. This is really a conjecture; you should get the error codes diagnosed. However, a friend experienced a comparable problem with his 48V hybrid Kuga, and a new battery (covered by warranty) resolved the issue.

If the vehicle remains under warranty, return it to the dealer for inspection.

Regrettably, it is a 2017 model, thus lacking warranty coverage. I will insert the fault code reader and verify. However, the dashboard screen is devoid of any visible information.
Thank you

Hello, when did you purchase the vehicle? Was it a recent acquisition?

I purchased the vehicle four years ago from a used auto dealer.
