Greetings everyone, I am seeking assistance.
I recently acquired an E350 and am experiencing juddering during acceleration between 1500-2000 rpm. The vehicle operates flawlessly when cold; but, once it attains normal operating temperature—typically after approximately 30 minutes of driving—it begins to exhibit problems, particularly when moving uphill under mild to moderate throttle. I possess receipts for the replacement of the torque converter and am seeking assistance.

Are you considering a private sale or a dealer sale, my friend?
I surmise that is the reason the owner disposed of the vehicle.

Dealer sale associate! Indeed, that aligns with my impressions as well! I must commend the car garage; they have already received the vehicle three times in an attempt to rectify the issue. Depleting my reservoir of suggestions

There is a Mercedes-Benz specialist located near Clevedon, just outside Bristol, named Avantgarde Mercedes. It may be advisable to recommend to the selling dealer that the vehicle be sent there for diagnosis or repair, with costs covered by them.

When was the gearbox last maintained? I experienced the identical problem, and a gearbox service resolved it.

The typical culprits are a sticky turbo actuator and a malfunctioning exhaust back pressure sensor; do not presume it is a gearbox problem. A session on STAR or Xentry should provide insights; even a self-scan with iCarsoft would be beneficial. Have you received the email yet?

When it begins to jerk, pull over and turn off the engine. Wait for 10 seconds, then restart and observe if the issue resolves, albeit temporarily. It may possibly be a boost issue. Divided pipe, etc.

Thank you, my friend. I will investigate this matter. The primary factor that confounds me is that this phenomenon occurs alone when the engine is heated. The initial 30 minutes of operation are flawless.
