Hello, I just acquired a 2018 Picanto, but the SD card was missing (I was notified of this beforehand). I discovered an internet source to buy a replacement; however, the link provided indicates compatibility only from 2019 forward. I inquired about this, since my model is from 2018, but they have maintained that this is the right version and would function properly. Is this accurate? Thank you.

A Kia SD card is optional for the satnav; the download page gives the required components.
I use my personal card in my vehicle.

Thank you. I reviewed the list of qualifying automobiles at the provided link, and it indicates model years 2011 and 2019, but not 2018. I lack technological proficiency, which is why I was attempting to purchase a Kia SD card.

Upon downloading the software updater, input the software version located in the settings screen of your vehicle by pressing and holding the settings button. The updater subsequently determines the required software update. The MY numbers denote the years in which a specification change occurred for that model, rather than the model year itself. It is likely that yours will be MY11; nevertheless, verify the version on the media system for confirmation.

This poses the risk that the card may not be compatible with the appropriate software version for the vehicle.

A 2018 vehicle may be a model year 2019 variant... Uncertain on the method of verification.
