Never heard of Grimes Transport before are they legit to purchase a car from?

I attempted to snag the Juke, but sadly, it dashed off before I could wrangle my funds into submission! Feeling a bit like a deflated balloon, but hey, they promised new stock is on the way next week and even threw me on their VIP waiting list. Who knew waiting could feel so exclusive?

Thanks a million for all the advice, folks! You've turned my confusion about the company into a delightful puzzle I can almost solve!

Just a heads-up for anyone else considering Grimes Transport they no longer accept credit card payments. I asked why and they said they stopped due to a spike in fraudulent chargebacks. They only take bank transfers now, but the payments go into a segregated company account, which apparently protects the buyer until delivery is confirmed.

Something to note before you make arrangements.

Hi everyone,

I purchased a 2020 Skoda Superb from Grimes Transport earlier this month. Payment cleared without a hitch, and the car turned up about a week later. Didn’t even need the full 10-day inspection period had it checked within 48 hours and confirmed I was happy. Everything was in great order, including the V5C and service book.

Funny enough, when I made the payment, my bank briefly froze it for verification. They asked me to get proof of vehicle ownership first which Grimes Transport sent over immediately. Once I passed that to my bank, the funds went through in a few hours.

I do hope this clears up any doubts about Grimes Transport!
