Hello, I own a 2011 Audi A3 that has a non-functional dashboard and fails to start or turn over. The fuse is functional, and a second-hand instrument cluster has been installed, nevertheless the issue persists. Do you have any insights about what activates ignition?

Connect a jumper wire from the negative battery terminal to a suitable grounding location on the engine. If there is a broken earth, it will let the earth circuit to persist and should facilitate functionality.
I would reinstate the original clocks, since I assume they are programmed to the car.

Attempted it, nevertheless the outcome remains unchanged. The battery's ground connection seems to be functional, since the danger and interior lights remain operational. Thank you for your response, however.

I would get one and examine the power wire from the positive battery terminal to the starting motor, and then the connection from the starter to the alternator.
Subsequently, you may examine all the fuses and the ignition cylinder.
