I deliberately purchased a basic specification 220CE. I need a durable and reliable air conditioning system that will not cause frustration due to malfunctions or excessive electrical issues.
However, I would not object to having cruise control.
Does anybody have any insight on the feasibility of retrofitting this utilizing components sourced from a salvage yard?
It is uncertain if the existing electrical infrastructure can accommodate the integration of additional components by means of simple connection.

It would be advantageous to include the installation of this device using a factory MB control stalk/lever in order to maintain an original equipment manufacturer (OEM) aesthetic. It is desirable that the push/pull functionality aligns with the corresponding labels.
