Greetings, everybody.

Proud new owner of an AMG! I was hoping that you folks with more experience with the Service Schedule might give me some pointers.

Up to now, my 2018 CLA45 has had four servicing. Two As and two Bs. Due on the 5th is now.

The third one included the excellent Gearbox Oil and Filter. Again, it's nice that they addressed spark plugs in the fourth.

The estimated cost of my annual service and MOT is £672. It seems like £672 per service/MOT regardless of the number of services I undertake, whether I pay for them over a 12-month, 36-month, or 48-month period.

The next Service A has likewise given me a price of £370.

Could someone please tell me when the major events will be and if the service plan is worth it?

Not sure if it would be more cost-effective to handle each thing independently, but £672 a year is still a lot of money.

To earn a B, A, B, I may execute the following Service A independently before beginning the Service Plan. Nevertheless, it is important to determine if £672 represents fair value.

At last, I've found a "Mercedes Approved" repair shop close by that can keep track of my MB's service records. Would you recommend them? I plan to request a quotation tomorrow.

My sole other course of action is to decide whether to go with Indy, which I want to retain for the next seven to ten years. It would be worthwhile, though, because I've heard they'll pay for major things if they unexpectedly fail.

Much obliged.

Is there a warranty on this vehicle?

Frankly, I'd recommend an MB expert for a vehicle that is five years old. It would be half the price and you'd receive far better service. Invest in the extended warranty instead.

Unfortunately, the warranty for Mercedes automobiles is only valid for 4 years.

If that's the case, use the money you would have spent on an MB specialist toward an extended warranty. It will pay the cost of the warranty even if anything goes wrong with these autos.

I don't know how fortunate you are; I have never seen an independent anyplace near me that was priced half as much as a dealer! "A" service on my SL, with indy1, indy2, and indy3 costing £190, £210, and £210, respectively, and another year of mobilo for £240 from the dealer.

The B1 service cost £205 at the Huddersfield MB specialist, but the A7 service, which is the trans fluid one, was £390. Just for that, MB wanted £600 or more.

I got in touch with the Mercedes-approved facility near me so they may update the vehicle's electronic service record.

Uncertain quantity of A + Pollen Filter; asking £220. Impressive when compared to the £370 offered by Mercedes.

The local Mercedes dealer was less expensive than the Mercedes specialist when I owned my C207.
