Good day everyone, I was hoping to get some advice from you seasoned pros.
On a 24 plate, I drive a Kia Sportage GTSline MHEV.
It's been about a year since I got it.
I took it in to have Kia check it out after the engine management light went on. They informed me that they would order a new exhaust sensor because it was malfunctioning. A few weeks later, I took the car back to have it fixed, and while I was driving home, the engine management light came on again... I rescheduled it for today, and now I'm getting an email that says they need to order a new catalytic converter because they are out of stock.
The mileage on the car is under seven thousand miles.
Is the fact that the CC has already disappeared cause for concern?
Thank you ahead of time 💪🏻

Have you enquired about the availability of stock in the UK and the estimated wait time?

I don't need it because I already have a car, but they're going to drive the car back to me tomorrow, so it's obviously still fine to drive? They were just enquiring about a courtesy car and the excess of £500.

A long wait may be in store for you if the item is on back order.

There will be no financial ramifications because the CC is not a common fault (you must be exceptional ;)).
