About six weeks ago, I purchased a 2020 Sportage (GT line s, if that helps). Over the past week, I have intermittently had warning lights turning on, regardless of the weather or time of day. This is the blind spot warning lights and the forward collision avoidance assist system. They now accompany us on all of our journeys, sometimes even taking a break. Please take note that I have removed the autohold hand brake system and cleared all sensors, but the problem persists. The car briefly stops, but it returns with a fury the next time I start the engine.
I took it in for an inspection at the local Kia dealership (not the one I originally purchased it from), and they quoted me £96 to determine the nature of the problem and whether or not it was covered by the 7-year warranty (the vehicle should still have another year of coverage as of September 2020). Repairing it is not part of this!
Will it be covered by warranty if I take it to my regular reputable garage, even though it isn't a Kia?
Does anyone else have this problem and found a solution? Every time the alert goes off, it makes me nervous.
My head is spinning, I need some assistance.

Has the dealer who sold you the automobile been contacted? If yes, what was their response? It is common practice for dealers to charge for diagnostics. The fee is typically waived in the event of a warranty issue.
I tried wiping the sensor plate, as they suggested, and the error went away for a while, but it reappears every morning. Next, they suggested getting in touch with their service team to schedule it. The catch is that they're more than an hour away, so we haven't decided to go that route just yet. We'll need to figure out when we can bring two cars to drop it off. I will call on Monday because they are closed today.

It is possible that the problems you are experiencing could be caused by a 12v battery that is weak or dead. There are a lot of false alarm lights that aren't always related to power that a weak 12v battery can display. Determine the battery's voltage with a voltmeter or, alternatively, attempt to charge it using a battery charger.
Might be effective. If that doesn't work, a trip to the dealer will be necessary.

A battery tester that can provide a report on the battery's health should be available at any respectable motor factors.

Even though it has nothing to do with the subject at hand, the new Hyundai Tucson I just had delivered flashed a bunch of warning lights about the forward sensors the moment I took delivery. I sent it straight to the dealership, where I waited for a good chunk of time as they determined that the front license plate had been installed in a way that partially blocked the radar sensor. Curiously, they insisted it was fine during testing, but things went wrong the moment I got behind the wheel!
At one point, the alarm was going off every three minutes, and the husband had to disconnect the battery to stop it. Fortunately, it didn't start again when he rejoined it. He seemed to be making the problem worse by checking a few items, such the battery.
We contacted the Kia Premier garage where I purchased it, and they informed us that we could return the vehicle for an inspection as it was still under warranty. They also clarified that the local Kia dealership I had taken it to wasn't affiliated with them since it wasn't a Kia Premier. They found a problem with a wheel sensor, so I returned it yesterday; next week, they will fix it, and the warranty will cover it. It is quite safe to drive even if the warning lights remain on for the time being.
I appreciate everyone's input; it's helpful to have someone to bounce ideas off of.
