Greetings everyone. Would much appreciate it if someone could give me a direction. The whistling sound is getting much worse on my Mitsubishi Outlander. Can anyone share a similar experience with their Outlander? Could it be a hose split, a boost leak, a problem with the turbo, or something else entirely?
I am grateful.

Did you say diesel? Then it's probably a split hose.

While my turbine speed sensor, input and output speed sensors, and solenoid-and hydraulically-operated stepper motor all use cvt8 fluid, yours does not. Maintaining clean nose magnets is essential. Change the fluid every 30,000, believe me.
