This video was shot over the course of two years, and my friend Edd and I made a custom 3D-scanned, real-carbon-fiber front lip spoiler for the SL63 AMG. The stupid selfie in the thumbnail is just for YouTube's algorithm.

If that carbon fibre were flawlessly smooth, it would appear stunning. The visible pitting upon close inspection of the vehicle would genuinely provoke me!
I believe a Mk2 version crafted by your friend is necessary, given his refined expertise in carbon fibre.
