During prolonged periods of parking and driving within a speed range of 30 to 40 mph, all my tires consistently maintain their prescribed pressure of 240 kPa.

HOWEVER

During a 20-minute drive at speeds of 50 to 60 mph, one tyre experiences a pressure drop of 5 to 10 kPa (0.7 to 1.4 psi).

Which of the aforementioned could potentially lead to this?

Corroded or improperly fitted wheel rim causing leakage. A tyre technician will submerge the wheel in a basin of water to locate the area. The extraction and replenishment of the tire on a damaged rim utilising sealant should rectify the issue.

Evidently, when operating a vehicle at elevated velocities, the tires and the air within them will experience thermal escalation, resulting in increased pressure.

Thus, I presume the heightened pressure results in the potential leak, well, leaking.

What evidence do you have that this tire experiences a loss of 0.7 to 1.4 psi? Is the wheel sensor indicating a problem, or is the pressure in that wheel lower than the other three when the vehicle is stationary and assessed with a standard gauge?

I am enquiring if the pressure drop is genuine or if it is due to a defective sensor.

Excellent inquiry, and I apologise for my failure to clarify it. At first, the sensor alerts me, and the yellow tyre pressure warning indicator activates, but upon halting and verifying with a gauge, the decrease in pressure is validated.

The aforementioned, along with the tire's deformation against the wheel.

Presumably originating from the bead. A large container of water will discover it.
