Due to an increasing family size and limited resources, this driving project is absolutely brutal!

I'm sure I'll have a plethora of questions, but for now, I need to replace the flexi-pipe and get a new valve cover. That should keep me occupied for the weekend.

Although I have a few Roley 3-series (E30 and E36) in my past, I haven't owned one in quite some time.

Hey there! :)

Much obliged.

Let me paint a picture of how ropey it is....

When he first laid eyes on it, my seven-year-old son nearly broke down in tears. Absolutely horrible. Prior vehicles have been spotless both inside and out.

That is, until I got a new bonnet and spent two weekends fixing and cleaning—mostly cleaning. It's beginning to make sense.

Over the weekend, I need to change the valve cover, change the oil, change all of the filters, install new plugs and coils, turn the car around so I can clean the passenger side interior, buff the headlights, and trim the wings. After that, on Tuesday, it will be time to have the new flexi welded in.

Haha, now the hard part starts. All sorts of suspension, brakes, etc.
