Greetings,

Could someone provide information on the speaker size found in the front doors of the W211 model? Additionally, are there any limitations or constraints regarding the depth? I am in the process of enhancing the quality of my front speakers and evaluating several aftermarket components. However, it is essential for me to ascertain the precise dimensions of these components prior to making a purchase decision.

I am disinclined to physically inspect the door cards just for the purpose of ascertaining the dimensions of the speakers. The user's text lacks academic tone and should be revised to adhere to academic standards.

Thank you in advance.

Having just completed an update to my whole audio system, I am able to assert with confidence that the front speakers possess a diameter of 6.5 inches. The depth of the speaker should not provide a significant issue, since most mid-range speakers should be compatible. However, if you are using a subwoofer in the front doors, this may present some challenges.
This assistance is anticipated to be beneficial.

Given that the original post was made in 2010, it is possible that your response may be considered tardy.

Can you remember the process through which you enhanced the door speakers? Today, I removed my speaker and successfully detached the four Torx screws. However, it seems that the speaker is firmly integrated into its position. I am unable to locate any ring adapters for the aforementioned item. I have prepared the harness adapters for installation, but, I had difficulties while attempting to install the speakers.

We express our gratitude for your input.

I am providing a hyperlink inside this correspondence to demonstrate the precise procedure for replacing the front door speakers.
The objective of this task is to provide instructions for the removal and replacement of the front speaker in a W211 vehicle.
I will provide you with a hyperlink in this correspondence to demonstrate the precise procedure for replacing the front door speakers.
Additionally, I will provide you with a hyperlink to access door, space door, speaker, and spacers/rings.
There are two distinct sorts that I will transmit to you, both of which remain now accessible. One of the objects is composed of MTF/Wood, while the other is made of plastic.
The provided hyperlinks will direct you to the respective platforms where you may proceed with the purchase of the mentioned items.

The speaker adaptor for the Mercedes E class, W211 (up to 2009), is designed to accommodate a 165 mm speaker. The acronym "MDF-D.77" refers to a specific term or concept that requires

Plastic variants.

This will be the last inquiry about the adapters. What is the process of mounting? Are nuts and bolts provided for the installation of the door onto the three holes, or are rubber mounts included instead?

Greetings, sibling.
Assistance will be readily provided without any difficulty.
The first inquiry I would want to pose is around the selection of adapters, namely if the preference lies with MDF or plastic adapters.
Typically, the speakers that are inserted into the door are accompanied by screws that ideally fit directly into the previous mounting holes.

Do the speakers that you have acquired or now own still conform to the dimensions required to fit inside the plastic covers that were originally designed for them?
If such is the case, I would proceed to insert them into the aforementioned plastic enclosure and thereafter reattach such enclosure to the door.
Alternatively, in the event that the plastic inserts originally used by the speakers cannot be employed, I would choose for the utilization of adhesive (specifically MDF, which is my preferred choice for adaptors).
In the case of plastic ring adapters, the installation process necessitates the acquisition of screws to affix the adapters onto the door. These screws are then inserted through the plastic cover and securely fastened into the door.

May I inquire whether I may pose a series of inquiries to you?
What specific head unit or vehicle radio are you using to provide power to the speakers? The quality of sound reproduction is directly proportional to the quality of the head unit.
2: Which door speakers are being used as replacements for the original door speakers?
3: Will an amplifier be used in this context?
This contribution is anticipated to provide assistance. Should you need any more guidance, please feel free to contact me without hesitation.
