The soft top cover on my 2018 E class Mercedes convertible (A238) needs repair, and I was wondering if anyone might suggest a professional in the area. Near Loughborough, in the county of Leicestershire.
The typical problem of worn or frayed cables is present, but I also suspect that the roof was removed or replaced at some point, and the structure was misaligned during the refurbishment.
You can see it's not quite square at the opening above the windscreen. There won't be any leaks or anything of the sort, and you probably wouldn't even notice if I didn't say anything.
That is, unless someone happens to have a manual that I could use.

To Tony, the expert convertible repairman in Coventry at Soft Tops. The number 07721 589006 is his. My 2019 A238's snapped strings were repaired by him.

Tony from Soft Top Convertible Repairs in Coventry helped me fix the worn and snapped wires on my 70-plate E220d. I just got back from my appointment. Friendly service and excellent advice as usual. Much more affordable than going to the major dealer, plus the thicker cables he uses should make it last much longer. I cannot speak highly enough of this man. ps. I tracked him down when I was dealing with a comparable issue on my C250d some time ago. Tell me when I'll find out...
