Large-scale cleaning completed!

After driving just 1800 miles, my vehicle was covered in tar marks. I saw this as a good chance to purchase new cleaning solutions and thoroughly clean my car.

The new things I purchased include: - Tardis for tar removal - Gtechniq - C5 Alloy Wheel Armour - Gtechniq - Zero Scratch Microfibre Drying Towel (substituting for chamois)

The cleaning technique was as follows:

1. Clean debris with a jet wash.
2. Perform a thorough wash using Meguiars Gold Class soap, a bucket with a grit guard, and two lambswool gloves - one for the body and the other for the wheels.
Dry the automobile with a drying cloth.
4. Gently sprayed Tardis on afflicted areas and wiped with a microfiber cloth.
5. Repeated steps 2 and 3.
6. Applied C5 Alloy Wheel Armour and let it to cure in the sun. 7. Applied Poorboys EX-P sealant to the bodywork and let it dry for 30 minutes.
8. Use a microfiber cloth to polish the wheels until they gleam.
9. Applied Migliore Bella Lustra Tyre Glaze for a subtle shine. 10. Used a microfiber cloth to remove EX-P sealant for a glossy finish.
Applied a coat of Dodo Juice Light Fantastic to the bodywork, plastics, and glass roof, then removed it with a microfiber cloth.
12. Used Meguiars inside Detailer to clean the inside plastics.
13. Cleaned the windows with Meguiars NXT glass cleaner
14. Cleaned the seats with Zymol leather cleaning.
Finished using Meguiars Ultimate Quick Detailer on the bodywork to eliminate any remaining wax spots and achieve a high-quality finish.
16. Cleaned the engine bay briefly.

I could have completed a few further tasks such as polishing the exhaust (which was done just a week ago), waxing the leather (although it doesn't really need it), and giving it a fast vacuum.

I was quite tired and my car became dirty driving through a sandstorm yesterday on my way to my parents' house. Now it has to be washed due to the sand and rain.

Key comments: The Tardis is remarkable. I am astonished that I used to clay the whole vehicle to remove it before.

Assessing the C5's wheels is difficult due to the car's recent acquisition, but they are attractive and shiny, presumably maintaining their condition.

I have not yet assessed the water beading performance, but I plan to do so after washing the surface either today or Wednesday, and I am optimistic about the outcome.

I like Dodo wax for its ability to effectively beautify plastics without smearing on the panoramic sunroof. I may use RainX on the sunroof, but I will wait to see the results.

I believe I like using the MF towel for drying. I had used it previously but suspect the previous towel was of poor quality.

The paint on the new white vehicle feels really smooth and looks impressive in the sunlight, but it may not be very noticeable in photos.

It is unnecessary to dry the automobile before applying Tardis. Simply clean the automobile by spraying your vehicle with a moist microfiber cloth on wet bodywork. Simply wash and clean the affected areas, dry the vehicle, and you're done

Great job, it looks fantastic and extremely shiny! When water is sprayed on the rims treated with C5, it causes the brake dust and debris to simply flow off, showcasing the product's effectiveness.
