Hello everyone - After driving an X-series for the last 13 years (first a saloon, then a Sportbrake), I just purchased an XF Sportbrake 2.2Tdi MY 14. With just 26k miles on the clock, this vehicle is in excellent condition. Very pleased! I utilised this site a lot while evaluating different automobiles and may return with questions after I've gotten a few miles under my belt. There is no name for her (him?) yet...

Yes, photographs! I haven't taken any since I got it, but there's one on the dealer's lot.

Looks clean! Do you agree that they look great? Even though we all have our own opinions, they do.

I see that your XFR is made of clay. My XF's paint is in great shape for a 2014 car, so I'm thinking about getting that done. The dealer actually offered to do it for £800, which I thought was a bit much. Do you have any thoughts or tips about ceramic coating? Is it worth it, how much does it cost, etc.?

About the correct price. It is still as excellent as the day it was done two years ago. I also use Gyeon damp protection after each laundry. Water simply rolls off indefinitely. I strongly endorse Ceramic Coatings. Permanent substance and lustre are added. Also makes laundry a breeze

Thank you! I live close to a detailer, so I'll ask him for a price.
