I have been an avid observer on this platform for a significant period of time and have gained valuable knowledge from the contributions of others. At last, I am now in a favourable situation to get a R8. However, I am now facing a difficult situation and would really appreciate your insights. We really value any valuable input.
The agreement is. I am considering two R8s of the same colour. I will enumerate the disparities and seek assistance in determining the preferable option. Is it really worthwhile to increase the price by a factor of two for the choice between v8 and v10?
The first generation Audi R8, not the "plus" version, was released in 2015. It is equipped with a V10 engine and has a mileage of 29,000 km.
The inside does not have any carbon components, just the blades and engine are there. The vehicle is in its original condition, without any modifications. The price is 140,000 units of currency.
The second generation Audi R8, manufactured in 2009, is equipped with a powerful V8 engine. It has a mileage of 39,000 and does not have any carbon fibre elements in its interior or exterior. Additionally, the vehicle is supercharged and is priced at $75,000.

The pricing disparity extends beyond the V10 model. The V10 vehicle is not just 6 years more recent, but it also has 10,000 less kilometres and has not undergone any modifications with aftermarket components.
Personally, I will never buy a pre-owned automobile that has been modified. Absolutely impossible. I have a lack of confidence in people's ability to do tasks accurately.

Undoubtedly, the V10 is superior than the other two.

Based on the costs mentioned, I believe that both vehicles are equipped with manual transmissions and have gated shifters.
What is your capacity for accommodating alterations? I, myself, have a different perspective from that of others. Many automobiles are equipped with upgrades that enhance their performance or functionality. Regarding the R8, the exhaust system takes precedence over the suspension. The majority will not dispute that. In my opinion, equipping the V8 engine with a supercharger is advantageous. The previous owners of my R8 made extensive changes to the vehicle. However, I was well-informed about the history of these modifications, including the individuals involved and the timing of the alterations. Over a span of more than four years, I never had any problems or complications as a result of these modifications.
Evidently, there should be documented evidence of the job performed, using top-notch components and suppliers, carried out by a well-established establishment, and subjected to a sufficient number of mileage to ensure the absence of any post-installation issues.

Although I have not been actively monitoring costs, I believe that the 2015 model is quite overpriced, especially considering its mileage, particularly for an automobile with an automatic gearbox. Although these automobiles have little mileage, there is now a wide selection available. Remain vigilant until the appropriate vehicle arrives. Prior to engaging, it is essential that you possess a clear understanding of your objectives. As an example, let's consider the comparison between a V8 engine and a V10 engine. If you are comfortable with a V8 engine, you will have a wider range of options available to you and maybe find better deals. They are not mediocre, just not as powerful as the V10. The V10 is extraordinary. Furthermore, when considering an automatic gearbox, the comparison between R-Tronic and S-tronic arises. The R model was available in the United States prior to 2014. The S-tronic gearbox is available for models manufactured in 2014 and after. Personally, I held off on purchasing a vehicle until the release of V10 with S-tronic Gen1. This narrowed down my options to cars from the years 2014 and 2015. Best wishes in your pursuit.

The price for a 2015 S-tronic with low specifications is too high, considering its lack of unique features. Additionally, expecting a manual gearbox for this vehicle is unreasonable.

Performing a rapid KBB pricing search without precise knowledge of the specific options yielded an approximate value of $97,000 for the 2015 model with a mileage of 29,000.

I would like to express my gratitude to all individuals for their valuable contributions. Both vehicles are equipped with manual transmissions.
I just discovered that two of them had modest paint repairs.
I have come across information stating that the clutch, magneto, and air compressor are the three components that tend to be expensive.
Both vehicles have been equipped with aftermarket coilovers.
The V10 vehicle has just had its air compressor overhauled after covering a few thousand kilometres. I have no knowledge or understanding of V8.
I received price estimates for clutch repairs ranging from 8,000 to 10,000 units of currency. Is it considered typical or within the expected range of behaviour?

Acquire the 2015 V10 stock, which really resonates with me.

Where did you discover a supercharged gated manual V8 for under $75? That is an excellent bargain. The majority of non-supercharged gated manual vehicles typically have a price range of $75-85, which is determined by factors such as condition, mileage, and other relevant considerations.
