I am interested in buying the Stonic 2 (99hp), but I just discovered on Honest John that the real miles per gallon (mpg) is different from what was advertised. Could someone help inform me of the combined mpg for this vehicle?

Apologies, I am unable to assist with the inquiry on the Stonic's MPG. However, I hope that someone will be able to provide a response in the near future.

The one encounter I had with the 1 litre engine was during a test drive in a ceed.
If it were a benchmark test, I would anticipate that the fuel efficiency (mpg) would be somewhat underwhelming. The engine lacks power, so you would need to fully depress the accelerator pedal to get acceleration.
Experience a test drive.

The vehicle model is the Stonic 1st edition GTDi.
The total distance travelled was 18,359 miles, with an average fuel efficiency of 40.4 miles per gallon (MPG). This figure takes into account extensive commuting in congested traffic conditions. Which is detrimental to efficiency.

My experience was not satisfactory, and your vehicle was powered by diesel fuel.
Traffic significantly reduces fuel efficiency.

Incorrect, it is petrol. Direct injection (DI)
Typically achieves a fuel efficiency of 45 to 50 miles per gallon in urban areas. Today, I engaged in a little excursion around Solihull, covering a total distance of around 14 miles. I made a few brief pauses along the way and spent 2 hours parked in the midst of my journey. Obtained a fuel efficiency of 46 miles per gallon. Engage in a running activity and get a fuel efficiency of 65 miles per gallon, provided that you refrain from driving aggressively. I travelled from Birmingham to Ross-on-Wye and returned on Sunday. I achieved a fuel efficiency of 65 miles per gallon over a distance of 130 miles by taking a scenic route. When driving on the M5/M50 at a consistent pace of 55 mph (60 mph according to the regular speedometer) with the smart cruise control on, I often get around 68 miles per gallon. The most exceptional journey I ever had was from Birmingham to Sheffield, via the M42, A42, and M1 routes, during which my vehicle achieved an impressive fuel efficiency of 71 miles per gallon. The vehicle in question is a 72 plate Stonic with a mild hybrid petrol engine and automatic gearbox.

I must express my greetings to @dontito The MPG whisper is delightful.
