Good morning,

I own a 2016 W205 C 250 BlueTEC.

I am experiencing intermittent difficulties with ESP errors, which are increasingly frequent, and occasional faults with the Collision Prevention Assist system. The issues vanish immediately upon restarting the vehicle, and I may not encounter them again for another 200 to 300 miles.

The Collision Prevention Assist malfunctions seem to correlate with the Stop/Start feature exhibiting erratic behavior, as seen by the screen flickering between green and yellow.

Could this be a problem with the voltage regulator or stabilizer? I have had the automobile for around four years without any alterations, and I also see no indications that it has ever been modified.

An ineffective batter may be accountable for erratic malfunctions, such as those you delineate.

If the battery is original, it is likely time for replacement.

Thank you, I replaced the battery around two years ago with an aftermarket 115 Rombat AGM Start/Stop battery.

CCA (EN) 800

Voltage: 12 volts; Capacity: 80 amp-hours

Is the battery of insufficient quality?

Authentic batteries are superior. To eliminate any uncertainty, it is essential to connect it to a Xentry machine for precise diagnostics.

Thank you.

I am unable to send you a private message due to my newness, however you are rather close to me; I reside in Alton. Could you please give me a private message on the pricing for an evaluation?

It is indeed feasible. Could you arrange for someone to assess the battery?

Charge it for 24 hours and assess the outcome. 👍

It is possible that you own the auxiliary capacitor pack for the stop-start system. Beneath the glove compartment
