I am experiencing braking troubles with my 318ci and will begin by examining the brake booster. I have checked several videos online demonstrating how to replace the unit without bleeding the system, but they all pertain to left-hand drive vehicles, which seem to provide more space. Has anybody performed this on a right-hand drive vehicle, and if so, what components must be removed or unbolted first to provide sufficient space?
Thank you.

Stiff brake pedal upon deceleration at low RPM. The replacement booster came yesterday; however, when inspecting beneath the hood, I realized it would be located on the other side, where there is somewhat more complexity. The DSC obstructs access and seems to limit flexibility with the braking pipes.
Seeking for somebody with prior experience who can identify what has to be undone, relocated, or removed to facilitate the process.

Before you do any modifications, do you have a vacuum connected to it?

It operates well when driving and halts appropriately. It is only during traffic congestion and when decelerating that the brake pedal becomes unresponsive. One may either halt or decelerate, but one cannot simultaneously decelerate and halt. The vacuum reading was around -28 at idle and -8 during revs.
I had a brake inspection on Friday, and they suspect the servo is the issue. After weeks of inquiries without responses, I need to initiate action, preferably sooner rather than later.

Have you previously engaged in this activity? I was seeking guidance before starting, since there is a lack of internet resources regarding RHD.

Currently retired and not employed for some years.
It has been a considerable duration since I replaced one, and not on a BMW, but it is indeed an unusual occurrence to malfunction, or so I believe.
Manufacturers prioritize cost reduction nowadays, which may result in increased failure rates.

It is now difficult to get any informed guidance. Unable to locate a local brake expert. I brought it to a shop specializing in brake testing and repairs, where they provided a report on the discs, pads, and fluid, confirming the existence of an issue. Uncertain about its nature, but proposed a servo. Based on the facts provided, I would anticipate that such individual will approach the issue closely. In my profession, having more information about the issue increases the likelihood of resolving the problem on the first attempt.
Individuals refer to themselves as craftsmen due to their ability to rectify issues; nevertheless, the true skill is in accurately recognizing the problem first. Regrettably, it will not be substituted.

The traditional mechanic is becoming obsolete; technicians increasingly perform tasks dictated by computers.
It disheartens me that you will not find a technician to disassemble a caliper or refurbish it in a traditional mechanical manner.
I refer to the caliper, as I recently encountered one that was stuck. I acquired a kit to rectify the issue and enlisted my friend to remove it in his garage. However, he will be 70 next year, and I suspect he may cease his garage activities.
