Hello, I am encountering the aforementioned mistake and want assistance in comprehending the procedure I should follow to diagnose the issue. It is a detection of an evaporative leak. I have replaced the gasoline cap and cleaned the tank hole to ensure a secure seal. The code was cleared, however it reappeared after a fair duration.

Could someone provide guidance on the fault identification procedure? Any videos would be much appreciated.

Examine the purge valve on the engine; if air can be expelled via it when disconnected, it is defective.

That is the engine breather, not the fuel tank ventilation.

You are seeking a compact solenoid with an inlet from the fuel tank and an outlet to the intake manifold.

B48 2-liter petrol engine. It is a 2017 BMW 120i.

Remove the upper engine cover, and it should be clearly visible on the B48. Above the manifold
