I wish to detach the inner light cluster located on the tailboard.
I have detached the interior trim of the vehicle and removed two nuts that seem to secure the cluster.

However, there exists a black edge on the cluster that extends over the tailboard, appearing to secure it. It is unclear how to detach the black edge without causing damage.

Someone must possess the knowledge to manoeuvre it off; if so, I eagerly await your response.

Have the internal number plate fixings also been removed?

Subsequently, the two fastenings on the exterior flanking the handle.

Perhaps two additional fasteners beneath that panel? Another individual may provide commentary on that.

I should clarify that I am referring to the light cluster that includes the reverse light and stop light.
There exists one cluster on either side of the tailboard.

I am not referring to the license plate light.

Indeed, the ones affixed to the tailboard, not the stationary ones in the wings? The ones incorporated with the tailboard?

These items?

Precisely. Crimson and transparent. Revert and cease. Those particular items.
It is not evident how to detach them, even after removing one or two nuts from the interior.

I have never had a cause to detach the tail lights on my pre-facelift estate, so I cannot confirm their installation method. However, on the facelift hatchback, it is necessary to remove the bottom outer trim panel on the tailgate to access the lights. The video by Purple displays the hatchback.

Fundamentally, one must disassemble around fifty percent of the tailboard to extract a light cluster; additionally, on the hatch, it is necessary to partially remove a tail lamp only to replace a bulb—an absurd design.

Upon opening the boot, you will observe several fittings on either side of the tailboard that secure the lower panel. The top fittings are located above the license plate, beneath the trim that contains the license plate lights.

It is indeed quite bothersome.

It is indeed plausible that dismantling the bottom outer trim panel may be necessary; although it seems somewhat irrational, it could very well be accurate.
I will examine that. Thank you.
