Merely a point of curiosity as winter approaches. What is the performance of Pirelli P-Zero Verde tyres in winter conditions, such as light snow?
It is improbable that I will venture out in any other conditions, and in my region of the UK, we hardly have more than a few inches of snow, if at all.

Superior over pure summer tires, however still lacking in performance. If you have sufficient tread remaining, I recommend acquiring snow socks.

I concur regarding the summer tires; our initial L538 was equipped with OE Continental Cross Contacts, which performed adequately in summer but were somewhat unreliable in winter. Conversely, the Pirelli Scorpion Verde fitted on the L551 proved to be an excellent all-season tire, as anticipated. I have utilised the snow socks several times, and they significantly enhance grip in snowy conditions, providing traction comparable to that of genuine winter tires. Four-wheel drive assists in ascending inclines but offers minimal to no benefit during braking and cornering. They are inexpensive, readily applicable, and convenient to store in the trunk as a precaution.

As always, be aware that if you drive your automobile overseas during winter, most mainland European countries now mandate the use of appropriate winter tires, marked with the mountain emblem.
