My 2007 Ghia exhibits a tyre pressure alarm upon beginning, despite all pressures being within specifications.
The scan indicates it is located in the right front.
The sensor seems to be defective, as it fails to recalibrate. Significantly costly to substitute and reconfigure.
I am enquiring whether anyone has successfully disabled the TPMS module using Forscan.
I have the programming version loaded, but encounter an interface issue while interacting with BCM.
Could someone assist me with navigating the menu, please?

Can the OBDII gadget toggle between high and low CAN bus? The time of your switch can be unpredictable.

I possess a vlinker FS USB ODB interface, which is purportedly compatible with MS and HS CAN. That is not the variant equipped with the switch.
There were two options in the configuration menu.
I believe there was a Main or As-Built version. Uncertain which option to select?
Subsequently, I received a message indicating 'interface interrupted, aborted.'
Perhaps my ELM327 adaptor is defective?

I attempted to disable the TPMS but purchased four Ford sensors for £89 as I was replacing two front tires. The local garage charged £30 for the installation of the back sensors.

Thank you, however it appears to be costly.
I recommend verifying that all sensors are properly connected.
I previously received a TPMS malfunction warning when my rear right tire experienced a slight deflation, instead of a low pressure alert, and it was discovered that my front right sensor had been unplugged at some point in the past. It was evident that it had been unplugged rather than having come loose, as the connector had been secured out of sight.
Prior you removing the arch liners and similar components, I advise connecting Forscan to check for diagnostic codes, as an unplugged sensor would generate a corresponding 'circuit open' code.
The issue may reside with the valve on the tire itself, which is significantly less expensive to replace than the sensor. To ascertain if such is the situation, I would exchange the problematic wheel with the rear wheel on the corresponding side of the vehicle. If the 'fault' shifts to the back, it will indicate that the sensor is not at fault.

While the suggestion of exchanging wheels is commendable, would it not necessitate reprogramming to ensure the system recognises the valve locations?
No, the valves are not programmed to a certain location on the vehicle. The sensors detect the nearest one. I recently exchanged the front and rear tyres, which is the extent of tyre rotation permissible with directed tyres, and everything is functioning properly.
