Front Michelin PS4 tires on my W204 C63, with around 2,000 miles of usage. The cut does not penetrate to the cables, hence the structure is intact; however, I am understandably apprehensive about the potential for a blowout at motorway speeds, although the vehicle is presently in storage and not accumulating mileage. It would additionally provide as guidance for the MOT.

It appears that the tire has been curbed, resulting in a section being removed from the rim protection area, which failed to serve its purpose.
