I recently acquired a 2016 520d Tourer SE, marking my second purchase, having previously had a 2007 520 M Sport. I saw that the rear was initially positioned very low, nearly resting on the wheels; however, it subsequently returned to a normal stance.
Did I fabricate it?

Greetings and welcome to the forum.
Possibly rear air suspension.
If it descends overnight, you likely have a leak, assuming you possess air suspension.

Thank you; I was unaware that it included air suspension, but the symptoms appear to indicate as much.

I experienced the same issue with my 2011 F11.
Some days might be satisfactory, but others would decrease by several inches.
A pinhole developed due to wear.

Replaced with non-OEM components (the only available option) and have seen no issues since.
It is advisable to address this issue promptly to prevent undue strain on the compressor.

Consult the part number on RealOEM and do a search to obtain pricing information.
The task is not very complex.
The last seven digits of the vehicle identification number (VIN) in Realoem will display all components and their corresponding numbers for your car.

I am somewhat new to BMWs, having acquired my F11 a few months ago; nonetheless, I typically replace components in pairs for suspension, brakes, wheels, and similar parts on my vehicles.
