Re: 89 Classic Excision
The ignition switch was malfunctioning; the engine started well but thereafter stalled after a brief operation. I identified the location where the metal housing of the switch had become detached from the ceramic foundation. Adjusted the tabs for a tighter fit, and we are satisfied! I own the '94 mo...

Re: Purchase of 2018 S213 E63S in February 2025
It is intriguing to learn that tire skidding occurs while exiting intersections. I still own the chocolate P-Zero tires on my vehicle, and I do not comprehend the phenomenon at all; maybe I do not perceive it when my foot is fully pressed on the accelerator, however. 😂 Seeking to transition to MPS4S...

Re: Water Infiltration in the Trunk of My W211 E-Class!
What is the significance of 'the ancient giant seal'?
Are you referring to the whole boot seal? When you remove this from the metal lip it rests on, it is typical to discover that the lip is rather rusty and requires treatment beforehand.

Re: Water Infiltration in the Trunk of My W211 E-Class!
Examine the areas around the rear light seals and the boot trim, then gently dab with blue paper or shop towels. This will prominently display a single droplet of moisture as dark blue, facilitating simple observation after each application. A solitary drop of moisture located higher than the water ...

Re: Suggested OBD2 scanner
I use OBD11 for convenience, since it allows phone connectivity without cords, and VCDS for more comprehensive diagnostics.

Re: Orlando Code 84
Did any of the garages verify the detection of "powertrain fault codes" beginning with the letter P? Do your garage bills include any further information indicating a lasting resolution? Do you have information on any warnings associated with the flashing of Code 84 on the dashboard warnin...

Re: Orlando Code 84
Concerning "code 84". This does not constitute a diagnostic problem code (DTC). The vehicle's Driver Information Centre (DIC) has shown a warning to the driver about a reduction in engine power. In addition to code 84, you may have another warning bulb flashing on your dashboard while oper...

Windscreen, Autoglass, Rain/Light Sensor Calibration 2010 C63
Esteemed Colleagues, spring is come and my windscreen is damaged! A little chip located near the top of the screen is the reason. I do not remember being struck by a stone, but it must have occurred. I am going to be claiming via my insurer (privilege) who utilise Autoglass with a £75 excess. I don'...
