Since it is module driven instead of having a direct connection from the switch to the pump, I would scan it first. By manipulating the switch, you instruct the module (I assume it's FEM) to carry out your desired action.

Covered, but you could receive "can't find fault" and maybe even charged for an abortive diagnostic if it works when they examine it. If it fails again, I recommend filming it so you have documentation to present to a Kia dealer if you decide to pursue it. Since you have a warranty, it's b...

My guess is that it was programmed for "US marker lights" using a diagnostic tool like OBD11 or Carly.

It was obviously not going to work because of the Ghost immobiliser. That was brilliant; I hadn't thought of that. Maybe you can fix it yourself and save a tonne of money if you simply have a few parts

Make sure to inspect the MAF wires as well as any potential boost leaks; a hose split can be difficult to spot.

boost leak is the most typical cause. The meaning of P0214fA14627 is unclear to me.
