I have just acquired a 2018 D180 HSE Dynamic and found it necessary to join the community to explore available resources. The application remains restricted to the former owner, necessitating resolution of this issue.

Have you completed all the procedures to synchronize the application with the vehicle?
If affirmative: You must contact JLR support, and they will assist you with the procedures to unlock the application from the prior owner. You must submit the documents; nonetheless, the procedure is straightforward.

You may also visit your local dealer and request the removal of the prior owner; I did that, and they were really kind and executed the request without hesitation.

Given the challenges JLR is facing with its IT systems as a result of the hack, they may lack the capacity to implement the required modifications.
